Mr. Phakiat Samarnbutr (centre) Deputy Director General of the Excise Department was chosen as the Outstanding Father of the Year 2004. The award was presented to him on the 5th of December which is considered Father’s Day. Congratulating him are Nataphon Panyakhananukul (left) President of Easter Post and Yothin Jimuktayon Legal Director of the Excise Department.


Mr. & Mrs. Satnam Singh Madan hosted a party to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Liberty Mansion in Soi 17, South Pattaya. Friends joined in to drink a toast to usher in a new year of success.


Dieter Precourt, (seated left) Past President of the Rotary Club of Taksin Pattaya, celebrated his 68th birthday at Casa Pascal fine dining restaurant recently. Amongst the many well wishers were John Collins, Michael Burchall, Ian Brown, Nick Peck, Kevin Benson-Brown, Nick Lindheim and Michael Vaughn.


During the parade on World AIDS Day which fell on December 1, members of the Rotary Club of Pattaya Marina, Asia’s first French speaking club led by Charter President Nicolas Demet distributed water and more than 600 condoms, compliments of Meechai Viravaidhya, to the passing parade. The club meets every Wednesday for lunch at the ‘Le Peteit Liegeois’ on Walking Street.
