An Iranian man will find himself on ice for a while
after being captured with more than 30 grams of crystal
methamphetamines.
Police have Pouraaoradkhan in cuffs after finding his stash of crystal
methamphetamines.
Babak Pouraaoradkhan, 39, was arrested by Pattaya
Police in his Sermdee Apartments room on Pratamnak Road Dec. 28.
Investigators staking out the apartment raided the room after an alleged
customer knocked on the door.
Inside they found Pouraaoradkhan allegedly consuming
a dose of ya ice and, upon searching the room, found another 30 grams
hidden in the bathroom.
Pouraaoradkhan, who could not produce his passport,
said he’d bought the drugs for 50,000 baht from a Thai distributor in
Bangkok and sold off pieces of the lot for 3,000 baht each to raise
money for his return to Iran.
Charged with possession of a Class 1 narcotic with
intent to distribute, it will be some time before Pouraaoradkhan sees
the confines of home again.
