15-year-old arrested for necklace snatching

A 15-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly snatching a gold
necklace from the neck of a motorbike passenger.
The unnamed teen was captured about two kilometers from the Soi 6 crime
scene. He was captured with half the gold chain belonging to victim
Ratana Phuniroj, 22, who still had hold of the other half.
Ratana told police she was driving with boyfriend Amnart Phongsai, 22,
when the suspect rode by and grabbed her necklace and sped away. She
immediately screamed for help and called police.
Police said the boy confessed, saying he needed money to party.
