Indian swimmer dies off Koh Larn

An Indian man died after striking his head on rocks off Koh Larn
during strong currents.
Dannis Kashi, 28, suffered a fractured skull and other wounds in the
Aug. 25 accident off Samae Beach.
Friends said Kashi and they were visiting Pattaya on vacation and wanted
to enjoy Koh Larn’s beach. Kashi, however, couldn’t swim, so he rented a
flotation device.
Strong currents moved the buoy quickly, however, and Kashi lost his
balance as it moved near a group of rocks and fell off.
