Finn falls to death from Jomtien condo

A Finnish man died after apparently jumping from the 18th floor of a
Jomtien Beach condominium.
A security guard at the condominium found the smashed body of Rusanen
Karri Olavei, 52, on the top of a parking garage March 20.
Girlfriend Pannee Pongpakmoonnam, 45, said Olavei recently had come to
Pattaya and was staying at the R-Con Residence in Soi Buakaow. He’d told
her he was going to Jomtien Beach to see a friend.
Motive for the apparent suicide was unknown. The Finnish embassy has
been contacted.
