Pattaya is wrapping up its annual anti-rabies campaign, offering vaccinations
for dogs and cats through June 26.
The Public Health Department’s Disease Prevention and Control unit is providing
vaccinations from 9.30-15.00 at Wat Chaimongkol, Wat Boonkanjanaram, Wat Boddhi
Samphan, Wat Khao Pratamnak, Wat Khao Prabat Pattaya, Wat Nongchumhed
Pattanaram, and Wat Maihad Krathingthong. For more information on exact dates,

Disease-prevention office head Anya Jantragard said the campaign began in
February at the Public Health Center and with mobile units dispatched to the
Pattaya’s 42 neighborhoods. The final push began June 3.
Work to curtail rabies goes on all year, but extra effort is put in before the
summer rainy season. The city hopes to inoculate at least 40 percent of
Pattaya’s dogs and cats.
