Red Cross members gather around to watch a
benevolent person donate blood.
Military personnel, police, students and members of the
general public donated blood to make merit in honor of HM the Queen’s birthday
in Chonburi.
In total, 58,250cc of blood were donated by the 153 people who took part in the
event held at the Red Cross centers inside Chonburi City Hall, Amata Nakorn
Industrial Estate, and Nongprue Municipality Office.
Chonburi Red Cross President Busarawadee Ekachai and Chonburi Deputy Gov.
Pongsak Preechawit presided over the Aug. 12 ceremony.
Busarawadee said the Red Cross will organize blood drives throughout August and
encouraged people to donate to honor Her Majesty and resupply area blood banks.
