Group show off some of the items they will teach local women to produce
to help boost their family income.

The Pattaya Women’s Development Group met to discuss what the do
with the club’s yearly budget.
President Naowarat Khakhay presided over the Sept. 17 meeting with 50
members, and announced that this year’s budget will once again be used
to follow government policy to resolve the problem of jobless residents,
especially woman, to allow them to be occupied and have a proper income.
The group will use the funds to organize more activities to train people
so they can use their spare time to produce handicrafts to sell to
tourists for extra income.
These products will include handmade Thai products, such as clothes,
necklaces, herbal medicine and many more.
