homemade cakes to delight any mother’s heart.
Entertainment
The Palladium and Entertainment Complex on
North Road is holding a special Ladies Night on Friday the
11 th. All Ladies will have
free entry to the Palladium, with a free cocktail, free entrance and buy
one get one free on this special occasion. On Sunday 13th
August it’s Beer Madness Night where the Palladium goes
crazy for the night. Enjoy as many as 10 beers for only 500 baht. There
are also games and a chance to win the big bonus prizes.
Tony’s Entertainment Complex in South Pattaya
has a Dinner Show every night from 7.30 p.m. All you can Eat Free
Buffet and Live Music Show until the 30 th

On 18th August, The Captain’s Corner Restaurant
(between South Pattaya Road and Jomtien Beach) will be the venue for “another
evening with music”. The famous duo Rick and Harpich from
England will perform with some hot music. Several other highly skilled
musicians, including maybe even Ib Ottesen, will perform live on stage.
Book your table early at 038 364318. Grand Texan Style Bar-B-Q “eat
all you can” for only 250 baht or New Zealand steaks or lamb chops
will be the format.
Food & Drink
A new Nosh House - For those who like good old
English cooking, you can’t do better than the dining terrace of the Rose
Garden Hotel. Roast beef and pots with three veg and great Yorkshire
pud for only 150 baht; fish and chips lacking only the Evening
Standard wrapping also 150 baht and a whopper everything goes
breakfast for a value for money 95 baht. Other plain-cooking English
favourites aplenty. Thai dishes at about 50 60 baht with beer from 50 to
60 baht. Darts on Tuesday and Friday, Quiz on Wednesday. And, says mine
host Rob over the background of Ol Blue Eyes and the incomparable Nat
King Cole, the good music is free. A pleasant breezy terrace on
Pratamnak Road (go straight at the fork to Jomtien Beach from 2 nd
Road). Just after the flyover.
This month the Montien Hotel’s Veranda Coffee
Shop is having a sizzling month with a Korean Food Promotion. And
don’t forget their Buffet Specialties with an Asian Buffet
every Tuesday, Seafood Buffet every Friday and an International
Buffet Dinner every Saturday. At Marco Polo Chinese Restaurant there
is an assortment of Shark Fin dishes for both lunch and dinner that are
not available on their regular menus. Certainly a treat for your taste
buds.
Sher ‘E’ Punjab invites everyone for an Exotic
Indian Buffet by Candlelight every Friday from 6pm to 11pm for only
