City begins to demolish
back of Nang Nual Restaurant
The city finally had enough and began to demolish a large portion of Nang Nual Restaurant in South Pattaya. The demolition began on July 9 and is expected to continue for at least 15 days. All costs will be borne by the owners of the restaurant. The owners of Nang Nual ignored the final, final deadline of July 2, prompting the city to take action. If the city hadn’t stepped in and begun the demolition on July 9, the statute of limitations law could have been invoked on July 10, which could have meant years, perhaps decades more litigation. The City of Pattaya took the action in conjunction with the provincial litigation enforcement office. |
