I was in the post office in Jomtien the other day and as
I walked back to my car my memory was suddenly stirred as I smelt the aroma
of traditional English cooking. Following my nose it lead me to Simple Simon
a European style butchers shop and workshop. I felt as if I stepped back in
time walking into a friendly butcher’s surrounded by good food to buy and
friendly laughing people to serve.

I found a wonderful array of goodies to buy. They have
lean bacon, roasts & roasting joints, mince, joints, strip loin and
fillet, home made meat products, sausages & sausage rolls, pies, scotch
eggs and black pudding ... even a selection of tasty fruit pies.
I spoke to Wayne the managing director and he said, “In
this part of the world we offer the best of pork, lamb and corn fed chicken,
USDA prime beef, Australian, New Zealand and Thai premium, cured and treated
like it’s supposed to be and portion controlled.”

Another side of the shop is the catering division -
whether you have a private party or outside function Simple Simon will plan
with you, prepare, deliver, serve, wash-up and take away!
No party is too big or too small and all customers are
welcome in the shop; they like to see anyone and everyone.
