Legendary priest was beloved father to thousands of children, caring brother and friend to all

As the news of the passing of one of Pattaya’s true icons spreads throughout the international media, nowhere is his passing felt more than in his adopted home, Pattaya. This man of God has touched the lives of many, given hope to the hopeless, provided shelter for the homeless, and was one of the world’s rare individuals, a man who has truly left a legacy, proving that one man indeed can make a difference. Although mere words cannot begin to express the way he has forever changed literally thousands of lives, Pattaya Mail pays tribute to him this week. Rest in peace Father Ray, you will be missed.

18-wheeler truck slams into tour bus and motorbikes

Break failure blamed for horrendous crash, causing eight injuries

Eight people were injured and 10 vehicles received heavy damages after an 18-wheel truck’s brakes failed and rammed into a bus and motorcycles at the intersection of Sukhumvit and North Pattaya roads on Friday afternoon.

HRH Princess Soamsawali graciously presided over the presentation of the RGP Family Rally trophies to the winners of this charity function. Pratana Manomaiphiboon, chief financial officer of the Royal Garden Resort Co., Ltd., presented the funds raised from this event to the Princess in support of the Thai Red Cross project: “To help save a child from AIDS”. Royal Garden Plaza Pattaya organized this charity family rally to commemorate HM the Queen’s birthday.
