Clubs

The Dutch Expats Club Pattaya (NVP) meets the last Thursday of every month at Dolphin Apartments, Soi 20, South Pattaya Road. They also have groups for bridge, computers, Thai language, fishing, literature and much more. For more information email: [email protected]

The Pattaya International Ladies Club (PILC) holds their Newcomers Coffee the 4th Monday every month, and this month is at 11:30 a.m. at Casa Pascal Restaurant. This is only for newcomers to the area or just newly joined PILC members. This year’s Christmas Luncheon will be at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort on December 7. Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) holds its regular Sunday morning meeting at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant at the Amari Orchid Resort on the north end of Beach Road. International and Thai buffet breakfast is available from 9.30 a.m. prior to the meeting which starts at 10.30 a.m. and finishes about noon. Tequila Reef Cantina’s annual American Thanksgiving Day - all you can eat buffet is Thursday, November 25. Bikers to Party through the night for Charity. Art Caf้ Pattaya presents Alan Kirkland-Roath’s latest works of art. There will be a charity silent bid auction on one of the artist’s paintings - art lovers may leave their bid in a sealed envelope. Khao Kheow Open Zoo invites everyone to their special ‘Roy Krathong – Loy Krathong Dome’ on November 26 during the zoo’s night safari. Pattaya City will be holding Loy Krathong celebrations this year at South Pattaya’s Bali Hai pier. The evening’s event will feature a myriad of festival traditions including the most attractive krathong made from natural materials competition and the affable ‘Nang Noppamas’ pageant. The krathong pageant is open to teams of three with the minimum size of 12 inches in Primary and Secondary School and general public categories. Prize money and trophies for the best krathongs range from 3,000 to 10,000 baht for the open class. The ‘Nang Noppamas’ pageant is open to all single Thai women - who have not had children - from 16-25. The Nang Noppamas Pattaya winner will receive a 50,000 baht cash prize and trophy.
