PCEC members given free eye tests
Master of Ceremonies Judith Edmonds welcomed everyone to the Pattaya City Expats Club meeting on Sunday, January 31, at Henry J. Beans. After the usual announcements, she introduced the guest speaker, Dr. Maria Abalon, Doctor of Optometry and managing director of EuroOptic, and thanked her for bringing staff and equipment to the meeting to give everyone an opportunity for free eye tests. |

It was another fun filled and exciting day on the streets of Pattaya, when Rotarians and residents packed their families and friends onto beds-on-wheels and whizzed down the streets of Pattaya at breakneck speeds to help raise funds to support Rotary’s good work for the benefit of underprivileged children in our community. |

LPGA stars head to Pattaya for million dollar showdown
Golfing fans in Pattaya will be in for a real treat next week as the world’s best female golfers arrive in town to play the Honda-PTT LPGA Thailand 2010 at the beautiful Siam Country Club Old Course, from February 18 to 21. The tournament is the first Asian stop of the LPGA 2010 season, offering a prize purse of US$1.3 million, and is expected to boost Thailand’s tourism, drawing golf fans from around the world to visit the kingdom. |
