Saichon Parnchoomjitr (3rd right), insurance department manager from the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya recently presented 4 first aid kits to the Sawang Boriboon Foundation Pattaya to support their good work of rescuing the people. The donation was received by the president of the foundation, Prasit Thongthitcharoen.


 

Famous Jazz Musician Eric Marienthal (5th left), pictured here with the Dream Team during his recent tour in Bangkok, stayed at his favored Boutique hotel - Dream Hotel Bangkok. Eric Marienthal has recorded 6 CDs with Chick Corea Elektric Band, 2 of which were Grammy award winners. The Oasis Spa (Thailand), led by managing directors Toby Allen (left) and Pakin Ployphicha (right), recently held a ‘Vintage Extravaganza Party’ at Amari Rincome Hotel, Chiang Mai. The event was aimed to encourage and reward the staff’s outstanding performance. It was thoroughly exciting and successful with a staff singing contest and a lucky draw of presents supported by the spa’s business partners from all over Thailand.


Japanese model turned actress Hisako Manda (2nd right) was given a warm welcome at Dusit Thani Pattaya when she arrived at the five-star resort recently to shoot a commercial to be shown on Japanese TV. Ms. Manda dubs Susan Mayer’s voice for the Japanese version of Desperate Housewives. She also represented her country in the 1978 Miss Universe Beauty Pageant. The Jesters Care for Kids Charity Drive committee for 2010 brings the charity into its first 12 year cycle. All that were missing were the tooth fairies Alice Poulson, Ingrid Cunliffe and Graham MacDonald. This year, the 13th year of the Jesters Care for Kids Charity Drive, main events will be held as usual at the Diana Driving Range and Resort where there will be the biggest Fair yet on Sunday 12th September, followed by the Party Night at Jameson’s on Saturday 18th September with all the grand finales of the auctions and the raffles.
