On Christmas Day, the St. George’s Anglican / Episcopal congregation will be celebrating Holy Communion at 11 a.m. in the Sunday School room of the Pattaya Church which may be entered from 3rd Road, Soi 1 or North Pattaya Road, Soi 5. Everyone is welcome to join us for the service and to partake of the fellowship afterwards. The Lighthouse Club Pattaya will be holding their Annual Christmas Gala-Dinner on Friday 17th December at the 5-star Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort, Wong-Amart Beach in North Pattaya. Clubs and Associations

The next meeting of Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) will be on Sunday, December 19. Everyone is warmly welcome. The guest speaker will be Louis Ng, executive director of the Singapore based Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (ACRES). He will be talking about animal rights and welfare. The Club meets every Sunday morning at the Tavern by the Sea Restaurant located on the north end of Beach Road (part of the Amari Orchid Resort). The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9 to 11 a.m. Each week the PCEC usually has an interesting speaker to talk on various subjects of interest in an informal setting. The program is followed by the ever lively and often humorous Open Forum where questions are asked and answers given about living in Pattaya as well as an update on events in and around Pattaya. For the past 28 years the Samaritans of Thailand have been providing confidential crisis intervention services over the telephone. The English-speaking unit, Samaritans English Help Line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support to the expatriate community. English-speaking staff, trained in crisis intervention will provide active, non-judgmental and empathetic listening services on the phone. Pattaya Players are proud to announce their very first Christmas Pantomime production of “Aladdin” on December 17th-18th.
