An honest grocery store clerk returned 94,000 baht he
found lying in the deposit drawer of a Siam Commercial Bank ATM.
Somsak Satiplan, 39, and his boss Veera Poonsuk, 50,
brought the cash to the Pattaya Police station. Somsak, who works at the
Phothisarn market in Naklua, said he was depositing a mere 6,000 baht
when he found the 94,000 baht still in the machine from a previous
customer.
At the time of going to press, there has been no information
forthcoming on whether the person who lost the money has been
identified.
