Four armed motorcyclists robbed a South Korean man of his
truck and valuables in a late-night carjacking in Nong Plalai.
Joon Hak Bee, 34, told police he was driving home around 12:30 a.m. May 13
when a pair of young Thais drove up on either side of his Toyota Vios. One
pulled a gun and forced him to pull over.
Joon said the gunman forced him out of the vehicle, robbed him of 3,000 baht
cash then took the car. Inside was a notebook computer, mobile phone and
bank book.
Joon contacted police, but too late to catch the thieves.
Police suspect the Korean either knew the assailants or they had been
watching him, as they seemed to know his schedule.
Police are continuing their investigation.
