arrested and had their wares confiscated.

Police raided three Pattaya storage lockers containing 5
million baht in copies of designer-brand goods and arrested 14 on
intellectual property charges.
About 50 Royal Thai Police officers stormed a shopping mall on second road
May 14, hitting storage facilities on the Beach Road and Second Road sides,
as well as inside the mall. More than 10,000 fake Izod Lacoste, Polo,
Adidas, Serf and other goods were seized.
Fourteen men and women tied to the dubious duds were arrested and charged
with distribution of imitation and copied goods registered in the Kingdom.
Intellectual Property Enforcement chief, Col. Trairong Piewpan, said the
raid was done to show complaining overseas governments that Thailand does
take action against piracy.
