9/11 - 10 years later

The Tribute in Light shines over the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty in New York on the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. The memorial was first presented on March 11, 2002, the six-month anniversary of the attacks, and has been presented by the Municipal Art Society every year since. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the horrific terrorist attacks, when terrorists flew commercial aircraft into the World Trade Centers, Pentagon, and a field in western Pennsylvania.
