Pattaya councilmen offer rice bonuses to city cleaners

Pattaya City Council members rewarded the city’s sanitation workers,
offering two bags of rice as bonuses to each of the garbage collectors,
street sweepers and cleaners.
City Council President Sanit Boonmachai led three other councilmen to
the Pattaya Garbage Collection Center on Soi Chaiyapoon Withi 1/2 Aug.
28, along with staff from the city’s Public Health and Environment, and
the Natural Resources and Environment departments.
The officials presented the 130 workers with two bags of rice each to
boost morale, congratulate them for their work and encourage them to
continue it.
Sanit thanked the workers and encouraged them to remain strong, be the
eyes and ears of the city, and keep a look out for damage to city
property.
He recognized the sacrifices they’ve made and their work for the public
to maintain cleanliness.
The cleaners appeared delighted with their bonuses and that city council
members recognized their civil service work.
