Chaweewan Attanart, community service advisor, represented Dr. Thanakom Manthananon (centre left), executive director of the Phyathai Sriracha General Hospital, at a week-long seminar on protection against cervical cancer. The hospital was recognized for their support of the project and received a plaque of appreciation from HRH Princess Soamsawalee at a ceremony held at the Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok.

Songkran at the Pattaya Floating Market was a colourful affair, starting the day with giving alms to Buddhist monks who made their rounds on little row boats. The festivities of the day included adults and children dressed in deity and devil outfits depicting scenes from old Thai folklore.

Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva is welcomed by (l-r) Ranjith Chandrasiri, DGM, Joachim Grill (GM) and Panga Vathanakul, MD of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group on his arrival to attend the 10th Meeting of the High Level Group for Education for All (EFA) at the Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Hall (PEACH) recently.

Supanee Wangteerapong, learning and development manager of the Amari Orchid Pattaya, together with her team from the hotel recently visited three charitable organizations: Father Ray Foundation, Pattaya Orphanage and the Project L.I.F.E. Foundation, where they donated uniforms, bedcovers, towels and clothing for the benefit of the children under their care.

Pierre Andre Pelletier, GM of the Amari Watergate Bangkok, was again at his most fun loving charitable self when, together with his administrative team, he visited the Thai Red Cross Children’s Home bringing along tons of gifts for the children. They were welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Khunying Saree Chitinand (center), a member of the board of trustees, and by a whole bunch of happy children.

Chiriki Amaike (far left), THAI Cargo sales manager in Tokyo, and Senyo Ko (far right), THAI Cargo assistant sales manager in Tokyo, represented Thai Airways International Public Company Limited in receiving a shipment of 42 boxes of canned tuna recently.
