A Russian man lost his Apple iPad and car after
he was apparently drugged by a prostitute he picked up on Walking
Street.
Ruslan Momedov, 30, called police to his Kophai
94 hotel room in South Pattaya Aug. 10 after waking up with a
headache and without 10,000 baht, his tablet computer and rented
Toyota Vios sedan.
He said the night before he’d picked up a woman
in Pattaya’s nightlife district and brought her back to his hotel
room. The last thing he remembers is drinking a cup of coffee she
offered him.
Police sent Momedov to the hospital for treatment
and sent out a description of the car, suspecting the suspect had
help in stealing the Toyota.
