Headless corpse washes
ashore in Sattahip
Patcharapol Panrak
The decomposed body that washed ashore on a Sattahip beach is
believed to be that of a fisherman who went overboard several weeks ago.
Authorities have not yet identified the body near the Air and Coastal
Defense Command headquarters Sept. 26. The male corpse was missing its head,
most of the upper body and part of a leg, and was estimated to have been in
the water about 20 days.
Lt. Sinsamut Bunthassana said the body is likely that of a fisherman,
possibly from another country as no missing persons report has been filed.
The body was sent to Sattahip Km. 10 Hospital to determine the cause of
death.
