Boy, 8, dies in Koh Larn accident

An 8-year-old boy died after falling from a boat-towing tractor on
Koh Larn.
Parents Manit and Pannee Maneerat, both 45, accompanied their critically
injured son back to the mainland after the morning accident on Na Ban
Beach Dec. 31. He was pronounced dead of a skull fracture at Banglamung
Hospital.
Witnesses said the boy was playing on the tractor and fell about 2.5
meters, hitting his head on cement pavement in the fall.
