On the occasion of the 2014 Children’s Day in Thailand, CUEL Limited visited Wat Laem Chabang School, Baan Banglamung School, and Wat Baan Na School, as well as communities in the Laem Chabang Industrial Estate and the Laem Chabang City Municipality where they hosted lunch and presented sports equipment and scholarships to the students.

Dusit Thani Pattaya Resident Manager Neoh Kean Boon, along with the hotel’s Green Team Committee President Prawes Akanimart, led a team of management and staff to join the Children’s Day celebrations at the Pattaya City grounds recently. They presented snacks, toys and school items to the kids whilst their parents received a sapling to encourage them to plant trees for a greener environment.

On the first morning of 2014, Father Peter, President of the Father Ray Foundation, visited the Diana Garden Resort where he was welcomed by Sopin Thappajug, Managing Director of the Diana Group. Sopin, friends and guests of the resort made a donation of 406 kg of rice which will be used to help feed the 850 underprivileged children and students with disabilities currently being cared for at the Father Ray Foundation.

On behalf of the Father Ray Foundation, Mai Chaiyanit (2nd left), Mayor of Nongprue Municipality, presented a Shield of Honour to Uthai Uthaisangsuk, (right) Senior Executive Vice President - Business Development and Project Development Division of Sansiri Public Co. Ltd. for their continuous support in building the ‘Centre of Excellence for Children with Special Needs’. The presentation ceremony took place at a special event to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the passing of Father Ray Brennan, who was made the first honorary citizen of Pattaya City for his inspirational leadership to help orphans, needy youngsters and those with disabilities and special needs. The event took place at the Sunken Ground, Central Festival Pattaya Beach recently. Also present were Pres. Father Peter Pattarapong Srivorakul (left) and VP Father Dr. Picharn Jaiseri (2nd right).

Sophon Vongchatchainont (centre rear), GM Pullman Pattaya Hotel G and his management team organized a “Share a smile for a child” event recently by hosting lunch and donating school supplies to children at the Ban-nok School in Chonburi Province.

On the occasion of Children’s Day, Veronique Sirault, GM of the Park Plaza Sukhumvit Bangkok and her staff helped in the relocation of Baan Mit Muan Dek, home to 10 children from the ages of 9 months to 2 years. They also donated milk products and other amenities to the children’s home.
