Residents of East Pattaya’s Nernrodfai neighborhood now have their own
community office and police box.
Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome and city council members helped cut the ribbon
on the new office between sois Khao Talo and Khao Noi Jan. 28. Nine
monks from Thamsamakkee Temple blessed the new facilities while
receiving alms and partaking in a benefit lunch from the community.
The Nernrodfai Community office will be headed by Manoon Wongsena and
supported by a council of 12 with eight consultants. The 61,560 baht
facility was funded in large part with donations from Pattaya
politicians.
Itthiphol donated 9,000 baht while several council members donated a
total 21,500 baht. Other councilmen donated supplies, equipment and food
to make the construction and ceremony possible.
