of apparent fall at home

A British expat died after apparently falling and hitting his head on a
glass table in his central Pattaya apartment.
The body of Brian Herbert, 72, was found April 9 at the Ruay Samer
Apartments on Soi Chalermphrakiat 23. He’d been dead for about five
hours after suffering a severe skull fracture. A smashed glass table was
the only sign of disturbance in the room.
Apartment owner Samruay Thongnak, 67, said Herbert had been living there
for six years and drank often.
Herbert’s friend, Phil Robinson, found the body after calling on the
dead man, but getting no answer to the door.
