Governor Sujarit wants to help Pattaya
The Governor of Chonburi, Sujarit Pujchimanand, gave Pattaya
a visit to state his basic policies as governor, which he said were to help the
people. During his visit here, he was received by Pattaya Mayor Pairat
Suthitham-rongsawat on a visit to City Hall, where he went into more detail.
He said his first worry is to help people in need, in an efficient and
expeditious manner. He said as Pattaya’s city government has been going through
so many changes, many of the city’s programs, aimed at helping people, have not
been working together. This is because policy changes with each incoming
official.
He said the ‘special manner’ of governing Pattaya has not been successful and it
is time that Pattaya had a municipal style government.
He said some of Pattaya’s major problems that needed to be solved were the water
pollution problem, the trash problem, the road quality problem, the traffic
problem and a host of others.
He said most of these problems were not any one person’s to solve. Every citizen
from government official to merchant must work together in making Pattaya the
utopia it once was.
