This year’s Jesters Charity Care for Kids Drive Pub Night will be
held at Shenanigans Pattaya on Saturday 21st September. There will be
auctions, raffles, and live bands. The show will be compered by Andy Francis
& Neil Smith starting at 6 p.m. with all proceeds to charity.

Chonburi, public and private sectors organize ‘Anti Drugs’ Family Camp
Patinya Sutrsuwan, head judge of the Chonburi Family Court
announced that this year’s Anti Drugs Family Camp took place September 2-8
at the Chonburi Child Detention Center.
The aim of this special camp is to educate youngsters and
their families of the dangers of drug abuse, and to promote family unity.
The camp provides training seminars on how to correctly
treat drug patients and how to encourage self esteem and assurance in order to
lead a better life. The 7 day camp endeavored to inform participants how
families can be of great help in discouraging drugs abuse.
The Anti-Drugs Family camp was set up as a youth camp where
about 40 youngsters attended 7 days 6 nights of open camp education.
Subjects addressed at the camp included self-improvement,
knowledge about drug issues, job training, sports and wisdom. Activities were
carried out with support from the Sport Institution of Chonburi, Rotary Club
of Taksin-Pattaya, Pattaya Sports Club, Poonsri Upatum Drug Rehabilitation
Center, and the private sector.
This annual event is organized by a team of judges from the Chonburi Court
and presided over by associate judge Sopin Thappajug. A large part of its
funding comes from the Pattaya Sports Club. Additional funds come from
activities and projects supported by Family Court of Chonburi.
