Announcements

The well-known Indian physician Dr Kamal is back in Pattaya. He now practices at his new "Dr. Kamal" clinic located on Soi 16 in South Pattaya, close to the Sikh Temple. Dr Kamal has devoted himself to naturopathic practices and heals with magnetic energy and special massages. Every Sunday from 10:30 am to 1 pm, Dr Kamal treats any patient free of charge. The Pattaya International Ladies Club November Coffee Morning will be held on Tuesday, November 20 from 10.30am onwards at Pan Pan, Thappraya Road, Jomtien. No reservation necessary and members and guests of all nationalities are welcome to attend.

The next meeting of Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) will be on Sunday, November 18. The Club meets every Sunday morning at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant on the north end of Beach Road in the grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort. The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9:30am to 11am. This week, the PCEC welcomes Dr. Manoon Somranthin who will talk about Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), the clogging of the arteries outside the heart and brain by a buildup of fatty materials and other substances and how it can be prevented. For the past 28 years the Samaritans of Thailand have been providing confidential crisis intervention services over the telephone. The English-speaking unit, Samaritans English Help Line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support to the expatriate community. English-speaking staff, trained in crisis intervention will provide active, non-judgmental and empathetic listening services on the phone. The Royal British Legion, Chonburi Thailand Branch is now up and running at Tropical Bert’s. You do not have to have served in H.M. armed services to join as long as you support the principles of the Legion you are more than welcome. All members receive a 15% discount every day at the bar and we have a get together every Sunday lunch (free food).
