Record numbers for PILC coffee at Pan Pan Restaurant

Bea Grunwell

A record 84 Pattaya International Ladies Club members attended the coffee morning at the very popular Pan Pan restaurant in Jomtien. A morning of fun and laughter meeting new friends was had by all and it took President Bea Grunwell quite a while to make 84 women listen up.

Announcements were made about the Royal Wedding Party on 29th April for which tickets are for sale for 800 baht per person. The party will be held at the Pullman Pattaya Aisawan Hotel, from 3 p.m. til 9 p.m. and all were advised to bring guests and invite non members because there will be plenty of surprises in store.

Also on the agenda, Wana from MLG Consulting was there to inform the ladies about insurances, 2 new members were welcomed, the Tea Tree Spa at the Holiday Inn very generously donated 5 vouchers for 10% discount which were given out to ladies who were celebrating a birthday on 15th March or thereabouts, and ladies that were wearing the most green as St. Patrick’s Day was approaching fast.

Arrangements were made to see the parade and our PILC member Joyce managed to sell 7500 baht worth of tickets. Prizes to be had were a set of boats, dinner voucher from Bruno’s Restaurant and Pan Pan, a sarong, a flying carpet, and a set of table mats.

The next lunch will be on 5th April at Dicey Riley’s Pub at the Marriott Hotel and Spa.
