student restrooms.
Lions President Rungthip Sukhsrikarnand and Cultural
Council head Naowarat Khakhai presented donations of 100,000 baht and
650,000 baht, respectively, to School No. 4 Principal Somchai Khemkhaeng
Aug. 9.
Somchai said the restroom facilities for the school’s
1,028 nursery, primary and secondary school students have been
dilapidated for many years and had reached such a point of decay that he
reached out to the Lions Club for assistance.
Each of the boys and girls restrooms will be able to
accommodate 20 students simultaneously and will have closed-circuit
security cameras installed outside their entrances for the students
protection.
Following the ceremony, the two groups donated 1,100
box lunches from Ruan Thai restaurant.
