Navy officers and representatives of the
Princess Pa Foundation are proud to be able to help their fellow Thais
in a time of need.

The Royal Thai Navy cooperated with the Princess
Pa Foundation to deliver first aid supplies and food to more than
1,500 victims of flooding in the Udon Thani area.
Foundation President Somdhavin Yungyoo,
representing HRH Princess Soamsawalee, who founded the organization,
the Thai Red Cross, and 50 Air and Coastal Defense Command personnel
loaded 2,320 bags of provisions onto two trucks bound for the
flood-stricken region Aug. 1.
The charity donated 1,550 bags for residents and
monks in Thongsanekhan, Utaradit and 770 for victims in Nayoong,
Udon Thani.
For the journey, the highway police led with
vehicles in front and at the rear of the convoy to deliver the royal
disaster relief packages to people on time.
The royal aid consisted of rice and dry food,
including instant noodles, canned fish, canned pickled lettuce,
chili paste, cloth, a blanket, shirts, pants, towels, medicine,
mosquito-repellent, a torch, candles, a lighter, sanitary napkins,
powdered detergent, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste.
