Apart from the cash donations from the resort’s staff
and management, Dusit Thani Pattaya has also been making the rounds in
the city and in Chonburi to deliver relief items for those affected by
the recent flooding in Bangkok and other areas.
Some of the flood victims are currently sheltered at
different evacuation centers in the province including various temples,
schools and universities.
Dusit Thani Pattaya recently donated one hundred sets
of towels, bed sheets and other clothing items as well as relief goods
to the flood-hit families at the Wat Yan in Pattaya. On 31 October,
another 300 sets were provided for those taking shelter in Chonburi
Education Centre.
The donations were received by Supranee Chatpaisit,
wife of Governor Wichit Chatpaisit, in her capacity as the head of the
Chonburi Red Cross Society.
