Cattle breeders vied for royal trophies as the
Pattaya Livestock Show kicked off again at the National Indoor Sports
Arena.
HRH Princess Sirindhorn and HRH Princess Soamsawalee
were both on hand at the close of the two-day show April 1 to hand out
eponymous trophies to ranchers. The show was a mixed grill of beef,
chicken and horses, with plenty of exhibitions and workshops on the
side.
All the rancheros from the Thai livestock industry
were on hand, including the Pattaya Livestock Department, Thai Brahman
Breeder Association, Kamphaeng Saen Beef Breeders Association, and
owners of mixed Brahman cattle, mixed European cattle and local
chickens.
Sales of livestock merchandise and breeding products
shared the stage with horse racing performances and seminars promoting
good standards and practices, and livestock jobs.
