Announcements

Father Corse Legaspi, the famous and renown divine-healer from the Philippines will come to the St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Pattaya on March 28. Mass will be held at 2 p.m. and numbers will be given out for those who would like to experience healing or even only the touch and blessing of Father Legaspi right after mass. Pattaya Mail reporters have been witnesses of many such healings. Not to be missed! - no matter what religion.

Clubs

The Pattaya International Ladies Club April luncheon will be held on Tuesday, April 4 from 10.30 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Casa Pascal, 485/4 Moo 10, 2nd Road, Pattaya Tel: 038 723 660. The main speaker at the Pattaya City Expats Club meeting on Sunday March 26 will be Thor Halland who will continue his interesting and informative history of Thailand. Ms. Helene Halland will present a brief power point show of the costumes worn during the period referred to. The meeting is open to everyone and begins at 10.30 a.m. Buffet breakfast available from 9.30 a.m. The meeting will, as always, include an open forum session to give everyone a chance to ask questions or share information of help to all foreigners living or visiting here in Thailand or Pattaya in particular. The BCCT Professional Women’s Group is pleased to announce its second gathering, sponsored by Bupa and Lawton Asia, on Tuesday March 28, from 6.30 - 8.30 p.m. at the Shangri-La Hotel (enter via Krungthep Wing lobby next to BTS Sapan Thaksin). All business people are welcome: men and women alike, and there is no requirement to be a BCCT member. The guest speaker is Kannikar Chalitaporn from Siam Commercial Bank who made the transition from a multinational organization to an established Thai bank, generating huge growth for the Siam Commercial Bank. This is a fascinating case study which will be presented by a very dynamic business leader. The entry fee for this event is THB 400 payable on the door at the venue. Amor Restaurant is now offering a Traditional English Afternoon Tea from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
