Hilton Pattaya Earns TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence

Hilton Pattaya has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.

The newly opened Hilton Pattaya, part of the Central Festival Pattaya Beach complex, has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, which honors top-rated accommodation businesses, restaurants and attractions, as reviewed by travelers on the world’s largest travel site.

To qualify, these businesses must maintain an average rating of four or higher out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews and how recently they have been submitted by TripAdvisor travelers.

The accolade is extended to qualifying travel and hospitality businesses worldwide.

“Hilton Pattaya is pleased to receive a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence,” said Harald Feurstein, general manager at Hilton Pattaya. “We strive to offer our customers a memorable experience and this accolade is evidence that our hard work is translating into positive traveler reviews on TripAdvisor.”

Dusit Thani Pattaya and RS Components make more smiles possible for kids with facial deformities

(L to R) Chatchawal Supachayanont, general manager of Dusit Thani Pattaya, Suthee Wetchapruekpitak of RS Components Company, Ltd., (Thailand), Kevin J. Beauvais, chairman of Operation Smile Thailand and Therese Beauvais, secretary of Operation Smile Thailand.

When RS Components Company held their Southeast Asia Sales Conference at Dusit Thani Pattaya in May this year, their goal was not only to discuss sales strategies among counterparts from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines but also to reinvigorate their involvement in charitable work as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility.

Fun games and laughter for the kids from Pattaya Orphanage.

One of the highlights of the convention, held May 10-13, was the setting up of a virtual children’s playground at the resort’s pillar-less Napalai Convention Hall where kids from Pattaya Orphanage enjoyed food, played games, won prizes and took home presents from the several booths that were festively decorated for the occasion.

Richard Huxley, general manager of RS Components and Jones Leung, VP of Sales were among the delegates who saw the delight in the children’s faces while they shared the joy with their friends.

The charity work did not end there as the company donated the amount of THB 82,000 to Dusit Smiles for Operation Smile (Thailand), the CSR program of Dusit International whose objective is to support surgery needed by children born with facial deformity.

Suthee Wetchapruekpitak, country manager (Thailand) personally handed the donation to Operation Smile Thailand executives during a simple ceremony held at the Benjarong Garden of Dusit Thani Bangkok. He was accompanied by Chatchawal Supachayanont, general manager of Dusit Thani Pattaya.
