An Israeli tourist was drugged and robbed by a
transvestite prostitute he picked up on Walking Street.
David Shamo, 27, awoke June 7 at his hotel room on
2nd Road to find his iPhone and 40,000 baht in cash missing after taking
the woman-of-the-second-category back to his place the night before.
The suspect gave hotel staffers an identification
card bearing the name of Piyawut Chukorn, 20. Police are comparing
security-camera footage with the ID photo to determine whether they
match.
