Daranart Nuchaikaew (standing, 7th left), Director of Human Resources at Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya led a group of hotel staff to Baan Huai Khai Nao School where they donated amenities to the school children. Taya Teepsuwan, Deputy Governor of BMA recently presided over the press conference held at the Amari Watergate, Bangkok for the “15th Amari Watergate & BMW Thailand Midnight Run” and the “16th Aerobic Marathon on AIDS” vying for the HRH Princess Sirindhorn Royal Trophy. Proceeds from these charity events will be donated to Chalerm Prakiat School, Baan Gerda to support HIV infected orphan children and the Baht for a Better Life Project. Bangkok Hospital Pattaya together with Rak Luk magazine organized Raklook @ Hospitals 2012 under the concept of ‘Social Intelligence’. BHP experts on child care and development spoke to the more than 100 families in attendance about the many aspects of mother and child care.

Pattaya hoteliers and members of the Thai Hotels Association-Eastern Chapter attended the ‘Pattaya Hotels Sales and Marketing Strategies Workshop’ held on at Dusit Thani Pattaya recently. Guest speakers included Victor Sukseree (seated 3rd right), GM of Dusit Thani Hua Hin and Chatchawal Supachayanont (seated 2nd left), GM of Dusit Thani Pattaya. Both spoke on the topic, ‘Product Price Positioning of Hotels’ while Chatchai Pongprapat of Marriott Thailand discussed ‘Revenue Management for Sales and Marketing’. The workshop also gave the hoteliers the opportunity to participate in market intelligence group discussion where they shared market information on tourists and visitors from Asia, Russia, and Europe as well as clients coming to Pattaya for MICE business.
