Globally-experienced Ranjith joins
Jetwing Hotels as Group GM

Ranjith Chandrasiri
Sri Lanka’s largest family owned leisure company, Jetwing
Hotels, has announced the appointment of veteran hotelier Ranjith
Chandrasiri as their Group General Manger.
Ranjith’s resume reads as a study of varied experience and knowledge, with
over 30 years in the field. Having managed flagship luxury properties in
Europe, Asia and Australia, Ranjith’s exposure on all aspects of hotel
operations is enormous - from Food & Beverage, Human Resources and Training,
and a specialized knowledge in Wine.
A few of the organizations Ranjith has been a part of include the
InterContinental Hotels Group, Royal Cliff Hotels Group, the
President/Founder of Asia’s leading wine club - deVine Wine Club, the
Regional President of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs for over 10 years, as well as
Villa Heritage Hotels as President/CEO.

The award-winning Royal Cliff Hotels Group was once again inducted to the
prestigious TTG Hall of Fame Honoraries List at the 23rd Annual TTG Travel
Awards 2012 Ceremony & Gala Dinner held recently in Bangkok.
With this celebrated recognition, the Royal Cliff Hotels Group not only
holds the honor of being the only hotel in Asia elevated to this status, but
also shares this distinction with an elite selection: Singapore Airlines,
Singapore Changi Airport, Star Cruises, Abacus International, SilkAir, Lotte
Tour and Hertz Asia Pacific.
The Travel Hall of Fame was inaugurated in 2002, with the objective of
establishing a permanent home in honor of our region’s most exceptional
organizations. The Royal Cliff Hotels Group joined the Travel Hall of Fame
in 2006 for having won awards for at least 10 times. The annual event
recognized 80 of the Asia-Pacific travel trade’s best organizations and
individuals and was attended by 700 people.

esteemed award from Michael Chow, Group Publisher, TTG Travel Trade
Publishing and Martin Craig, CEO, PATA.
The Annual TTG Travel Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner is held yearly in
Bangkok, in conjunction with the Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings
Asia and Corporate Travel World (IT&CMA and CTW). The awards recognition
reflects the dynamism of the travel industry and represents the achievement
and contributions of the industry. Award winners were voted by readers of
TTG’s print and online publications. The TTG Travel Awards is now reputed as
the most coveted and influential awards in the region’s travel industry.
