Animal-rescue officers knocked down walls to save a giant lizard
stuck in a Sattahip house.
Arunee Sroijit, 42, called Sawang Rojthummasathan officials April 25 to
report that a water monitor that snuck into her house was stuck in a space
between two walls.
Officers tried to pull the 2-meter-long lizard out of the crevice, but had
to punch a hole in the wall to free it. It was set free away from tight
spaces.
Arunee said she wasn’t upset by the structural damage to her home, believing
the lizard had brought her luck.
