Robbery believed motive behind brutal Rayong killing
of Cambodian woman

Rayong police say robbery likely was the motive behind the brutal
killing of a Cambodian seamstress in Paknam.
The body of 40-year-old “Chiang” was found at a garbage dump on Soi
Samrit 1, slumped over the seat of her pink Turbo Master bicycle with
her head covered with a fertilizer bag and hands and feet tied to the
bike. Her face was badly cut and bruised.
Local Cambodians told police Chiang lived in apartment on Paknam Soi 6
and was often seen riding to work at a local temple wearing a gold
chain. Police did not find the necklace at the scene.
Police believe Chiang was robbed, then killed elsewhere, probably by two
men, before being left at the dump.
