Central Festival Pattaya Beach got into the Songkran spirit,
hosting a musical foam party for soggy New Year’s revelers.
Pattaya City Councilman Rattanachai Sutidechanai opened the April 19
party with Central Department Stores executives and representatives from
sponsor Singha Corporation Co.
Guests beat the heat by spraying water on each other and sloshing around
in foam. At 7 p.m. bands Paradox, Joey Boy and Singh Nua Sua Tai took
the stage.
The Central Festival venue was a welcome respite for many from the
mayhem unfolding meters away on Beach Road, which was closed to traffic
for Pattaya’s “Wan Lai” day.
