Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome and Pattaya government employees were on hand as
Sawangfa Temple began ceremonies to pour gold to build statutes of Phra Phutta
Leela and Phra Laung Phopan Wat Bangnomkho of Ayuthaya.
Samreung and Pranee Phetrophas hosted gold-pouring for temple worshippers who
had each contributed 2,500 baht.
The monks and lay president thanked all who had donated to the religious
ceremony during Songkran. The proceeds will be used to renovate and improve the
religious institution and culture.
