Teen motorcyclist killed
by garbage truck

A teenage motorcyclist was killed after he apparently cut off a
garbage truck and was crushed by it.
Police and paramedics responded to Soi 4 April 12 to find the dead man,
approximately 18 years old, lying in the middle of the road with a
fractured skull. His pink-and-black Honda Scoopy-I laid damaged nearby.
An abandoned garbage truck was parked about 50 meters away. Its driver
had fled the scene.
Investigators said the truck was driving from South Pattaya heading
towards Sukhumvit Road when the victim exited Soi 4, cutting off the
truck, which then hit him.
