Suphadit
Maneeratcha-ratsri of the Royal Garden Resort
was elected the new president of the Pattaya
Business and Tourism Association at the PBTA’s
Annual General Meeting, replacing Sophin
Thepjug, the much revered and affable outgoing
president of the association.
The alleged gunman in the murder of Chucheep Iamsamang is being closely
guarded at the Phaya Thai Sri Racha Hospital. The accused gunman, Vinai
Kota, had come to the hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds. He still
maintains that he accidentally shot himself. But two eyewitnesses have
given testimony that they saw the killing.
An employee at the Wood-lands Resort was
on duty at 5:10 a.m. when a man came in
and purported to wish to check in. When
he saw that there were no other people,
he opened his coat and revealed a gun
with which he threatened the employee.
So you thought the view from the top
of Pattaya was good. Well it is, but nowhere near as
good as the view gained by eight falangs recently when
they completed two parachute descents with the Sattahip
based Royal Thai Marine Corps.
The action packed, fun-filled game of water
volley-ball is back at Jonathan Court (across
from the Bungee Jump on the road to Jomtien
Beach south of town).
Komkrich Sutatham, president of the Old Japan Student’s
Association (standing right) recently held a charity rally party to raise
funds for charity in honour of His Majesty the King’s 50th anniversary of
