Clubs
The Rotary Club of Taksin Pattaya meets weekly at
the Royal Garden Resort on Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. Call President

The UK Club of Pattaya will be holding its
next social family event in honour of the Queen Mothers 101st
birthday at the Bangsaray Club in Bangsaray on Saturday August
4. The event will take the form of an afternoon garden party...so come
on ladies...let’s get those bonnets and hats out. Transport will be

Are you a keen bridge player? The Pattaya Bridge
Club meets every Monday at 2 p.m. in the coffee shop of Pattaya

Fancy yourself as a warbler? Then the Seaboard
Sound is just the ticket for you. This vocal group meets every

The Elvis Pub and Restaurant on Pattaya 2 nd
Road, opposite the Central Festival Center, will be holding a Live
Concert featuring Ritchie Newton, Asia’s only western Elvis
impersonator with all the hits from the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll Friday
July 20 from 8.30 p.m.
The Warbler 2 Pub and Restaurant is now open in
the Baiyoke Hotel. One of Bangkok’s hippest pubs comes to Pattaya with
awesome food, cold beer and live music. Rock on down and
check it out!
The Green House on Pattaya 2 nd
Road will hold their Grand Opening Party on Saturday July
21, with three exciting bands and the Green House DJ spinning out some
tunes. Special drinks prices throughout the night and a free buffet.
The Moon River Pub again has two new bands. Power
Play and First Degree, two extraordinary music
groups from the Philippines are giving their best every night. Come and

Events
Friday 20th July at Shenanigans Pattaya is Landlord
Kim Fletcher’s 45th Birthday party. From 6.00 p.m. onwards
Carlsberg Draught will be 45 baht (fortunately for Shenanigans as the
years roll past Kim doesn’t get any younger) all night long, plus a
large selection of free bar snacks and giveaways and on Saturday 21st
July sees live the first of the Tri - Nations Rugby Union games
between New Zealand and South Africa at 10.00 p.m. on the big screen
with English soundtrack. Black & green bar snacks will be served at
halftime.
The Bowling Green, between Third Road and Soi
Bua Khao will be holding a Charity Lawn Bowls Tournament
on Sunday July 22 starting at 4 p.m. They’re looking teams of 4 or
individuals to play in this charity event. The entry fee is only 500
baht for the day including the trophies for the winners. All money
raised will be going towards the Computers for Thai Kids Project, which
not only teaches computer skills to children but also sponsors their

Exhibitions
Euro Design Art Gallery will feature Thai
Arts, with paintings by Natikorn Chinyo from July 23 to August
31. Euro Design is located on Thepprasit Road.
