Forty one years ago, Luang Pho Boonmee established the

Tanwised, the president of the Chonburi provincial administration,
presided over the opening of the Photisamphan Phitayakhan School’s newly
renovated football field, honoring the school’s founder, Luang Pho
Boonmee.
In keeping with tradition, a procession of 42 monks
began the ceremony, and teachers and students provided food and floral
offerings. Nine monks then performed the prayers and chants which
continued the ritual and sanctified this auspicious occasion.
Funds to support the 129 students who attend both
primary and secondary grades at Photisamphan Phitayakhan School were
presented at the ceremony, and all the people who made generous
contributions were publicly acknowledged and thanked for their support.
Expedited by Rewat Phonluk-In and members of Banglamung’s provincial
council, the school received a budget allocation of B500,000 to complete
renovations.
