The ‘Queen Vic’, as its many customers affectionately
know it, just had its first birthday. On November 5, owner Vic King and
manager Bert Elson welcomed Mayor Pairat Suttithamrongsawat and other guests
to their 1st anniversary party.
Mayor
Pairat Suttithamrongsawat cuts the ceremonial ribbon to officially get the
“Queen Vic’s” first birthday party underway, as the affable Victor
King looks on.
Owner Victor said Queen Victoria Inn is the perfect spot
in Pattaya for entertainment and relaxation. Visitors can choose to simply
relax with a glass of beer, shoot some pool, or play a game of darts. The
Queen Victoria also had a good menu with lots to choose from and diners love
the friendly atmosphere. “Customers can order their meals to their rooms
with our room delivery service,” said Vic.
Mayor Pairat said it was good to have a large variety of
accommodations for tourists in Pattaya. He also congratulated the owner and
the management team of the Queen Victoria for having completed one year in
operation.
Queen Victoria Inn is situated in Soi 6, Pattaya Second
Road. The Queen Victoria Pub on the first floor has a touch of old English
pub decor which makes it unique in Pattaya. Rooms for rent on the upper
floors create a mix of European and Thai atmosphere.
“Queen Victoria Inn welcomes both individual and family types of
visitors to dine and spend their overnight stays at the complex,” said
owner Vic.

Alongkorn Pangsawat, or ‘Buen’, is a young, talented
and energetic hairdresser and he’s finally returned to Pattaya. He
recently re-opened his new salon on Pattaya Third Road.
Alongkorn
Pangsawat is back in Pattaya.
Buen left the city to open a shop in Bangkok and another
in Chiang Mai. Now he is back with a new concept of decoration; a brilliant
mixture of furniture and wall coloring consisting of light green, soft
orange and bright yellow to easily catch people’s attention.
Prizes from the 5th APHCA World Beauty Art Olympic and
Kookmin Beauty Art Festival in Korea spoke well for this talented and very
modern hairdresser and his extraordinary hand and scissor work.
The shop was packed even though it was only 2 weeks after
the opening. Buen said he traveled around to gather experience and new ideas
to apply to his work but was very glad to be back in Pattaya. “Customers
must be most satisfied with my cutting,” Buen said.
As a demonstration he showed off the magic blade that he
put on his fingers while performing his talent. He said only very skilled
hair cutters can use this technique.
Buen said he wants to implement the concept of friendly,
fast, and high quality-oriented atmosphere in his salon. He added that he is
planning to gather a group of his friends in the salon business to organize
a charity contribution to give back something to society.
Peace Beauty Salon is open from 10.00 a.m. till 11:00 p.m.
